ASUS U46 14 Inch and USB 3.0 Notebook Review , Features and Price

Asus launched new Thin & Light Notebook Asus U46, diagonal of 14 inches, a thickness of only 27 mm and great portability, but within a flexible and powerful hardware equipment. Chassis metal alloy with a thickness of 27 mm, weighing 2 pounds and 14 inches diagonal. And yet, compact, easy to carry, lightweight design with a modern and attractive terms of clean lines and sleek, this is the new U46 ultraportable Asus. As if that were not enough, then, will also have a battery that, according to the manufacturer it should provide up to 10 hours, obviously depending on the application that he will do during the day.
But rest assured thinking that a laptop so hardware should have a limited and poorly performing. Once again, however Asus has managed to work miracles and the budget is very interesting and above expectations. It would indeed be based on Intel Huron River, then Sandy Bridge processors with Core i3, i5 and i7 also offering performance without compromise, thanks to their computing power and multimedia capabilities, which also ensure good flexibility of use.
How are the graphics subsystem Intel GMA 3000 HD, is usually included in CPU Sandy Bridge. The RAM can instead be expanded to a quantity of 4 GB, while the hard disk will have a capacity up to 750 GB. There is also a keyboard to isolated elements, type USB 3.0 ports, a webcam and even a DVD Super Multi: a budget really interesting and thoroughly, especially if you think that everything is integrated in less than 3 cm in thickness.

There are currently no known other technical details, such as specific processors that are available and their frequency, or even Asus has announced an availability date in the market and the price of this new ultraportable, which promises to be very interesting.
